MONCTON, NB – Wednesday, September 23, 2015 – Under the theme The Power of Hope, the Tree of Hope Campaign was officially launched this morning by actors Luc LeBlanc and Robert Maillet, Campaign Co-Chairs.

For the occasion, two launches took place simultaneously at École Polyvalente W.A. Losier in Tracadie and École Donat-Robichaud in Cap-Pelé.

The overall goal is to raise $1.7 million.

Moncton, July 15, 2015 - Mr. Robert Maillet, professional wrestler and actor, will join Luc LeBlanc as Co-Chair of the Tree of Hope campaign, announced Claude Paré, Provincial Vice-Chair for the campaign.

“I’ve always wanted to associate myself with a cause, says Mr. Maillet. It’s important to give back to our community. Last year, I had the opportunity to witness first hand the benefits of the Tree of Hope campaign when one of my relatives stayed at the Mgr Henri Cormier Lodge. I quickly realized that the campaign has an immediate, direct, real and positive impact on the lives of people affected by cancer in New Brunswick. I gladly accept to take on the role of Co-chair of the campaign alongside my friend Luc LeBlanc. This campaign makes a difference and I want to be a part of it.”
